DAY AND NIGHT

A tale of the timeless power of sisterhood and witchcraft in the exotic forest land of eastern Poland. In 'Day and Night' we decided to make ingenious use of a hybrid narrative — instead of interviews or archival footage, we combined fiction with pure documentary observation to show the youth and old age of the Roztocze women and create a mosaic of life.

'Day and Night' was screened in the Polish Days section at the New Horizons International Film Festival in Wroclaw and premiered in the Feature Film Competition of the RIGA IFF / Riga International Film Festival. It then went into theatrical distribution throughout Poland.
